Miracles will begin to report on this blog from today 25/04/10 and the first to sser reported to be a Eucharistic miracle that Jesus Himself help us to disclose that, besides having given their lives for us on the cross he has to give without longer need many proofs of his love for us.

Eucharistic Miracle of Lanciano.

To the east of Rome, close to the Adriatic Sea, lies the town of Lanciano, a small Italian town. Ali was born Longinus, the centurion who gave the spear in the side of Christ crucified and later converted to Christianity.

In the eighth century, was that place, a monastery, a monk who spent basilicano to doubt the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist, or doubted there was fractions of transubstantiation of bread and wine to the Body and Blood of Christ, upon consecration. During a celebration of the Mass, was surprised by drops of blood falling on the altar, while the Host in his hands high became flesh, a circle of flesh around the bread. The wine cup, turned into visible blood. The meat remained untouched, while the blood of the calyx divided into five distinct clots.

It was a morning in the year 700. Before the miracle, the faithful remained static for a few seconds, and the priest then started crying uncontrollably, full of joy and thanksgiving. "Come brothers," he said, "dazzle in front of our God and contemplate the flesh and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ." People rushed to go to the altar to witness the miracle and began to cry out for forgiveness and mercy. Many beat their chests and confessed their sins publicly, declaring himself unworthy to witness such miracle. The fact spread quickly among the local population and surrounding peoples.

Later, the monks themselves witnessed another extraordinary sign of that miracle. By weighing the fragments of clotted blood (all different sizes), it was observed that heavy one by one separately or all together, totaled the same weight.

The event was a supernatural evidence of the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, and since then, pilgrims from around the world come to visit the site to venerate the Host, which remained lodged in the monastery under the care of the monks and their successors for more than 1200 years without any substance conservative. These samples were in 1970 subjected to intense scientific assessments, under strict conditions

Under the guidance of Professor Odoardo Linoli, Head of Anatomy and Pathological Histology and Cytogenetics, Hospital of Arezzo, were made during four months insightful biological examinations, microchemical, chromatographic, immunological and electrophoretic methods of flesh and blood, following rigorous scientific methodology and all steps carefully documented. The results were surprising:

1) Blood is the human species, group AB.

2) The meat is of human heart muscle, without any action of chemical preservatives, highlighting has been taken alive and is now showing mummified by time, without decomposing. It is evident the myocardium, the endocardium, cardiac vessels and nerves. The blood group of the flesh is the same as the drops of blood.

3) Macroscopically, is a vertical slice of a human heart, with left and right cavities and individualized. Its features make it seem a perfect anatomical dissection, activity only started in 1300. Therefore impossible to have been made in the eighth century, a time and documented the emergence of this piece. The meat was actually beef.

4) The following were identified vascular structures of normal venous and arterial type, which have no structural changes, which belong to an individual are young.

5) As for the targeted analysis of substances mumificantes need revelation, it was concluded that the former meat lanciano belongs to a heart. A heart healthy.

6) the electrophoretic analysis of proteins from fragments of blood, it was found that the percentage composition of proteins in the liquid, exactly correspond to proteins of normal human blood.

It was further observed that the Eucharistic Host who remained in the center of the meat disappeared and that the container was not hermetically sealed. As for blood clots, for the miracle weight of the fragments (recorded at the time by the monks), no difference in weight was noted unusual. (For the scientific capacity of each season, God has revealed different signs at different times).

"A piece of myocardium and hematic clots, left in its natural state for centuries, and exposed to the action of physical agents atmospheric, environmental and parasites, have reached us after more than a millennium, to be submitted to current scientific research, inexplicably unchanged. "(Commentary final monograph Linolli)

The Linoli, author of his monograph of 1970 and revised in 1991, describes in detail all the details of scientific research. (See the monographs and studies on the site http://www.corazones.org/sacramentos/eucaristia/milagro_lanciano_ciencia.htm - in Spanish).
